Why does granny forget things?
A trip to the brain!
In this story my little niece, along with her little cousin, a cat and a dog undertake a wonderful trip to their grandmother's brain to understand what happens there.
There they meet Mr. Hippocampus and see the neuron cells up close. It is a beautiful story, masterfully illustrated by Gustavo Desimone, where children learn that love, patience, and empathy are what their grandparents with cognitive problems need most.
This book also contains a guide that can be very useful for parents and guardians when talking to young children and adolescents about dementia.

The children's book has been awarded the Caligrama Talent Seal
and recommended by AlzAuthors as an educational and emotional tool for families.
